Admission requirements
Applicants must either have a professional qualification degree in psychology, education, or a related field of at least six semesters, as well as at least one year of relevant professional experience.
For interested parties without a university degree, a university entrance qualification and three years of relevant work experience are required.
In addition, at least one year of professional experience in diagnosing and promoting children with learning and developmental difficulties is required.

The advanced distance learning course "Psychology of Child's Learning and Developmental Disorders" provides comprehensive expertise and is based on a scientific foundation. The course is designed for individuals working in the diagnosis and support of children and adolescents with learning and developmental disorders, as well as in counseling, or those looking to further develop in this field. Participants have the opportunity to prepare for a research career or take on leadership roles. The course consists of a total of 90 ECTS points and usually lasts five semesters.
In the first semester, students acquire methodological and substantive skills relevant for the further course of study. The second semester focuses on basic diagnostic and intervention skills, as well as communication and counseling abilities. The third semester covers specific learning disabilities that can impact learning outcomes. The fourth semester is dedicated to application transfer and scientific deepening. In the fifth semester, students write their master's thesis.The program also includes a 120-hour internship, which can be completed as a block or alongside employment. Participants in the course benefit from extensive, scientifically founded materials and an interactive online campus.
