The Bachelor's programme in Education and Social Management with a focus on early childhood offers a solid education for aspiring leaders in the field of education and social management. This academic training is primarily aimed at educators who are already in leadership positions or aspire to such roles. Graduates can pursue various career paths, including leadership positions in daycare centres, umbrella organisations, educational institutions, public youth welfare, and specialist counseling.
The programme focuses on both pedagogical and business management competencies. Specific contents include the fundamentals of education and social management, leadership functions and competencies, management in educational and care facilities, as well as quality management and evaluation. Additional modules provide overarching qualifications for managerial personnel.
The programme spans seven semesters and comprises 210 ECTS points. The course structure combines self-study phases with hands-on projects and face-to-face events. Additionally, there are supplementary modules in the curriculum to obtain state recognition as a social pedagogue. The programme is designed flexibly, allowing expertise to be acquired through distance learning within the zfh network.
