The Bachelor's degree programme in Educational and Social Management with a focus on Early Childhood offers a comprehensive training for prospective leaders in the field of educational and social management. This academic programme is primarily aimed at educators who are already in leadership positions or aspire to such roles. Graduates can pursue diverse career paths, including management positions in day-care centres, sponsoring organisations, educational institutions, public youth welfare services and specialist counselling.
The programme focuses on both pedagogical and business management skills. Specific content includes fundamentals of educational and social management, leadership roles and competencies, management in educational and care institutions, as well as quality management and evaluation. Additional modules provide cross-disciplinary qualifications for management personnel.
The programme spans seven semesters and comprises 210 ECTS credits. The course combines self-study phases with practical projects and face-to-face sessions. Furthermore, the curriculum includes additional modules for obtaining official recognition as a social pedagogue. The programme is designed flexibly so that specialised knowledge can be acquired through distance learning within the zfh consortium.
