Requirements for Enrollment
Entering the online Nutritional Sciences degree programme at Fresenius University is very straightforward: With a general higher education entrance qualification (A-levels), a general subject-related higher education entrance qualification or a subject-specific higher education entrance qualification, you can enroll immediately and at any time.
It is also possible to enroll without A-levels, for example if you have completed a master craftsman's examination or a comparable advanced professional training examination, such as a State-Certified Engineer or a State-Certified Business Administrator. If you can demonstrate at least a two-year completed specialized vocational training and subsequent at least two-years of specialized professional experience, you can also enter the programme through a university entrance examination.
By the way: If you have already completed a degree, you can save costs and time by having prior credits recognized. In addition to academic achievements, credits can also be recognized for achievements obtained outside of a university.

Study Model and Course Structure – Distance Learning with Few Exams
Hochschule Fresenius believes that exams are not always suitable for assessing the actual competencies of students. Therefore, in the Bachelor Distance Learning Programme in Business Psychology, there are no written exams! Your progress is, for example, assessed throughout the studies and online through:
- Assignments and Seminars
- Online Presentations
- Online Reports
- E-Portfolios
This approach saves you from strenuous travel to exams and provides you with a fair chance of excellent performance evaluations that correspond to your actual knowledge and competency level.
The university also relies on a unique interdisciplinary coaching team consisting of professors, lecturers, and study coaches. Your personal study coach is your point of contact for all matters concerning your studies. Whether by phone, email, or through the messenger in studynet – your study coach advises and actively supports you on your path to a successful degree.
Whether at home or on the go, on desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone – your campus is always with you. Our studynet learning platform is simultaneously an auditorium, seminar room, campus, and cafeteria. "Social Learning" is the keyword: a holistic learning experience that, in addition to using a variety of media formats, consistently focuses on dialogue.
