Here are the admission requirements for the Bachelor's degree in Dietetics
You can enroll in the Bachelor's distance learning programme in Dietetics at IU International University if you provide us with your A-levels (the general higher education entrance qualification), your technical college entrance qualification, or a subject-specific higher education entrance qualification.
In addition, a completed training as a state-certified dietician is required.
Don't have A-levels or a technical college entrance qualification? You can also enroll without A-levels. Studying without A-levels at IU is possible under the following conditions:
- You have successfully completed an upward training course, for example, training as a state-certified business economist. Additionally, you have completed training as a state-certified dietician.
- Or you have completed training as a state-certified dietician. Following your training, you have worked full-time in this profession for at least 3 years.

The Bachelor's programme at IU International University is modular in structure. A module typically comprises 5 credit points (ECTS) and concludes with an examination performance, such as an exam or a written assignment. This way, you complete your Bachelor's degree step by step - and even have a significant say in when you want to complete each module.

Study Concept: How the Part-Time Degree Programme in Dietetics at IU Works
You can adapt the online Dietetics degree programme at IU International University flexibly to fit your life and daily routine as best suits you. For example, you can choose from 3 study models: In the full-time programme, you need a total of 3 semesters, or 18 months, to complete your Bachelor's degree. In part-time programme I, you study for 4 semesters until completion. Alternatively, you can opt for part-time programme II and take 6 semesters to complete your Bachelor's.
You will receive study materials from IU with each module registration as printed study booklets. All materials are, of course, also available digitally. The IU Interactive Books are innovative learning scripts enriched with video clips and quiz questions at the end of a lesson. Depending on the module, study materials are supplemented by podcasts, live tutorials, and video content in the form of so-called shortcasts. You can access the IU Interactive Books via the practical IU Learn App.
Additionally, many modules offer virtual lectures, allowing you to interact interactively with your classmates and lecturers.
Very convenient and flexible is the option to take module exams in the form of online exams. You can take an online exam 7 days a week, around the clock, at a time when you feel optimally prepared for the exam, for example, in building construction. Furthermore, we operate around 40 exam centres in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, where you can also take your exams in the traditional way on-site.
