With (technical) Abitur: You can enroll directly if you have the general university entrance qualification (Abitur), a subject-specific university entrance qualification, or a technical college entrance qualification (theoretical and practical parts).
Studying without Abitur: Possible through
- a master craftsman's certificate or an advanced training qualification (e.g. IHK business specialists, state-certified business specialists) or
- at least a two-year recognized vocational training in Germany plus at least three years of full-time work experience.
- In this case, you will first be admitted for a trial study. If your education is not related to the subject, the university may assess your ability to study as part of a trial study.
International qualifications: Applicants with foreign qualifications must submit their certificates for equivalence (e.g. Anabin examination). IB diplomas are also recognized after an individual assessment.
Proof of German language skills: For the German-language study program, applicants without a German school leaving certificate need a language certificate at least at B2 level.
- Accepted certificates include, among others, TestDaF (at least TND3 with 3 points per section), DSH (at least level 1), Telc Deutsch B2, ÖSD B2.
- The certificate must not be more than five years old.
