Admission requirements

Access 1: You have a high school diploma or technical college entrance qualification

  • with this qualification you can immediately enroll at the Euro-FH
  • also recommended, but not mandatory, is a professional activity related to the chosen course of study for at least twelve weeks

Access 2: You do not have a high school diploma, but have completed a subject-specific further education examination:

  • You have, for example, one of the following further education examinations or an equivalent subject-specific further education examination:
    - State-certified Business Administrator
    - Certified Accountant
    - Business Specialist
    - Business Administrator
    - State-certified Technician
    - Master or
  • You have certification according to the Ship Officer Training Regulation or you have a degree from a recognized technical school (according to the Hamburg School Law) or an equally recognized degree or
  • You have a degree from state-specific further education regulations for professions in healthcare, social care, or social pedagogical professions that are comparable to the above mentioned and
  • You also participate in a consultation with the specialist commission of the Euro-FH. The consultation will be conducted by telephone and lasts approximately 15 minutes. The coordination of the appointment for the consultation will be done after reviewing your enrollment documents

Access 3: Without a high school diploma, with a completed vocational training and several years of professional experience

  • If you have completed vocational training and have been employed for at least three years afterwards (up to two years of childcare and caregiving activities are also credited towards employment), you can be admitted to study as a so-called \"guest auditor.\" This means that you start your studies just like regular students and receive all documents and services like your fellow students, you can also take exams.
  • Within ten months, you will then take the entrance exam at the Euro-FH. This consists of an examination in German and an examination in critical thinking skills. You can choose whether you want to take a project work or an exam in the respective subjects. We will prepare you optimally for the exams so that you can comfortably pass them within the designated time. By the way, during the entrance exam, you have a monthly right of termination, so you don't take any risks.
  • With the successful completion of the entrance exam, your status changes from that of a guest auditor to that of a regular student. You will then receive proof of your previously completed study and examination achievements and continue your studies seamlessly.
