To enroll in the Master's programme in Health and Nursing Education, you must meet the following requirements:
- You must have completed a undergraduate degree in health, nursing, or medical education, or in health, nursing, or therapy science at a state or state-recognized university.
- Your final grade in this degree program must be at least "Satisfactory."
- Furthermore, your first degree should also include a minimum of 35 ECTS credits in educational sciences or pedagogy. Missing credits can be obtained at IU through bridging courses.

The online study programme in Health and Nursing Education at IU International University can be flexibly adapted to your life and daily routine. For example, you can choose one of 3 study models: In the full-time programme, it takes a total of 4 semesters, or 24 months, to complete the master's degree. In part-time study I, you study for 6 semesters until completion. Or you opt for part-time study II and take 8 semesters to complete your master's degree.
With each module you take at IU, you will receive printed study materials. All materials are also available digitally. The IU Interactive Books are innovative learning scripts enriched with video clips and quiz questions at the end of each lesson. Depending on the module, study materials are supplemented with podcasts, live tutorials, and video content in the form of so-called Shortcasts. You can access the IU Interactive Books through the practical IU Learn app.
In many modules, virtual lectures are also offered, allowing you to interactively engage with your classmates and lecturers.
One particularly convenient and flexible feature is the option to take module exams in the form of online exams. You can take an online exam 24/7, 7 days a week, at a time when you feel best prepared.
