These are the admission requirements for the Bachelor of Nursing Pedagogy
The bachelor's degree program in Nursing Pedagogy is exclusively for individuals who have already completed education in the field of nursing. The following vocational training in the field of nursing is accepted for admission: health and nursing care, pediatric nursing care, midwifery, geriatric nursing, as well as equivalent vocational training completed in another country.
You can enroll in the Bachelor's distance learning program in Nursing Pedagogy at IU International University (IU) if you provide us with your A-levels (general university entrance qualification), your technical college entrance qualification, or a subject-specific higher education entrance qualification.
Alternatively, you can also enroll without A-levels. Studying without A-levels at IU is possible under the following conditions:
- You have successfully completed an advanced training course, for example, a training course to become a certified business economist.
- Or you have completed an vocational training, for example, training as an office clerk. Following your training, you have worked in this profession full-time for at least 3 years. If your training does not match the subject of Nursing Pedagogy distance learning, you will first complete a trial study before being regularly enrolled.

The bachelor's programme at IU International University is modular in structure. Study Concept: How the Part-Time Nursing Pedagogy Programme at IU Works
The online Nursing Pedagogy programme at IU International University is designed to be flexibly tailored to fit your life and schedule as best suits you. For example, you can choose from 3 study models: In the full-time programme, you will need a total of 6 semesters, equivalent to 36 months, to complete your bachelor's degree. In part-time programme I, you will study for 8 semesters until completion. Or you can opt for part-time programme II and take up to 12 semesters to complete your bachelor's degree.
At IU, you will receive study materials in print with each module enrollment as study booklets. All materials are also available digitally. The IU Interactive Books are innovative study scripts enriched with video clips and quiz questions at the end of each lesson. Depending on the module, study materials are complemented by podcasts, live tutorials and video content in the form of so-called shortcasts. You can access the IU Interactive Books via the practical IU Learn App.
In many modules, virtual teaching events are also provided, allowing you to interactively engage with your fellow students and lecturers.
Particularly convenient and flexible is the option to take module exams in the form of online exams. You can take an online exam 7 days a week, around the clock – whenever you feel optimally prepared for the exam, for example, in construction planning. Additionally, we operate around 40 exam centres in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, where you can also take your exams in the traditional on-site manner.
