Admission requirements

The admission to study at APOLLON University is regulated by the Bremen Higher Education Act and allows for admission in two ways.

• With the Abitur, technical college entrance qualification, subject-specific higher education entrance qualification, master craftsman's examination, business administrator qualification, advanced training qualification, or a corresponding degree, you can start studying immediately.
• Without the Abitur, a completed, at least 2-year vocational training or equivalent knowledge and skills are required. After that, you can take a placement test to obtain the subject-specific higher education entrance qualification.

Given the demographic developments and the shortage of skilled workers, qualified nursing managers are essential. The study content includes comprehensive knowledge in nursing economics, business administration, and legal areas. The distance learning programme offers great flexibility and can be completed alongside work and family commitments. The study plan is practical and takes into account the professional requirements of the nursing management industry. The option to choose two elective subjects allows for an individual focus.

The qualification also enables certification as a nursing consultant according to § 7a SGB XI.
