👉 The Bachelor's degree programme in Nursing/Nursing Management at EAH Jena prepares students for advanced professional activities in the field of nursing science and middle-level nursing management. It provides scientifically founded theoretical knowledge as well as practical skills that build on the students' professional experience. The programme is composed of mandatory and elective modules and comprises a total of 180 ECTS points. Graduates are able to practice scientifically founded nursing and take on leadership roles in nursing facilities.

Details

The Bachelor's degree program in Nursing\/Nursing Management at EAH Jena conveys theoretical knowledge and practical skills in nursing science and middle-level nursing management on a scientific basis. It places particular emphasis on the ability to practice nursing in a scientifically founded manner and to assume and shape leadership responsibilities within the field of nursing. The program is divided into two main sections: Study Section I, which includes the recognition of a successfully completed 3-year training program, and Study Section II, which spans from the 3rd to the 7th semester.

Students benefit from a practice-oriented education that includes both on-site phases and self-study components. Typically, the on-site periods consist of 15 days per semester as well as exam weeks for written and oral module exams. The modules of the program cover a variety of topics, such as independent engagement with theories and models of nursing, the development and implementation of theory-based concepts, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the execution of individual research projects.

The program is designed for nursing professionals with work experience who wish to deepen their knowledge and prepare for leadership roles in the field of nursing. Graduates have diverse career opportunities in nursing management, nursing practice, as well as in applied research and teaching.
