Admission requirements
In order to be admitted to the degree program "Health Psychology & Medical Education," you need a general higher education entrance qualification, a subject-specific higher education entrance qualification, or an equivalently recognized qualification, such as a completed apprenticeship with three years of professional experience or a completed advanced vocational training.
In addition, current professional activity in full-time, part-time, or as part of a company training, a trainee program, or a voluntary placement is required. If there is currently no professional activity, you can contact the FOM study advisory service to discuss individual admission options.

The Bachelor's programme in Health Psychology & Medical Education at FOM University offers a comprehensive academic education that can be completed part-time or in a dual form. This programme is ideal for individuals who are already working in a health-related field or are looking to move in that direction.
The aim of the programme is to provide both psychological and pedagogical expertise over 7 semesters of standard study time and 180 ECTS credits, equipping students with the necessary knowledge in medical theory. The study contents include:

Upon completion of the programme, you will earn a nationally and internationally recognised Bachelor's degree that can be used in various fields, such as health coaching, developing prevention programmes, and case management. Students will be able to provide preventive counselling and develop health promotion measures.
Furthermore, this programme opens up opportunities to teach at vocational schools and specialist health schools, to supervise vocational rehabilitation measures, or to transition into the field of health promotion.
