The postgraduate Master's programme in Medical Ethics offers a current and internationally oriented study programme. It is aimed at professionals from the fields of medical care, healthcare, insurance, and medical law who wish to deepen their knowledge and skills in the field of medical ethics.
The programme consists of eight study modules that provide both fundamental ethical knowledge and practical content. These modules are structured as follows:
Foundations of Ethics and Anthropology Foundations of Medical Ethics and Medical Anthropology Ethics of Institutions Physician's Practice in the Healthcare System Medical Ethics and Law Clinical Ethics and Counseling Ethics of Modern Interventional Procedures Ethics of Modern Diagnostic ProceduresThe programme is offered as a distance learning course and can be completed while working. Each module consists of study material sent by post, which is to be worked on through self-study, and a final presence event. The programme can be completed in eight semesters with one module per semester, or in the regular study period of four semesters with two modules per semester.
