Details
More and more people are using naturopathic healing methods alongside conventional medicine and consulting a naturopath or trusting alternative advice from experienced pharmacies. The reasons for this are diverse. On the one hand, there is already a shortage of medical professionals today; especially in rural areas, there is a massive lack of doctors. Furthermore, there is also an increasing willingness in the population to apply traditional and natural therapeutic approaches. Not least because more and more people are affected by chronic illnesses or mental health issues. The fact that life expectancy is increasing also contributes to people seeking alternative ways to maintain health.
The (online) distance learning programme "Naturopathy and complementary healing methods" (B.Sc.) offers you an initial academic degree and excellent career prospects for entering the growing market of alternative and holistic therapies. The programme combines conventional medical with naturopathic fundamentals and considers scientific-methodological content with clinical studies, so that you can, for example, conduct scientifically validated studies in the field of naturopathy and conventional medicine as a study assistant.
You will gain deep insights into the content, professionally-methodical, and practically-applied areas of naturopathic healing methods. You will acquire academic knowledge in essential foundational subjects such as medicine, statistics, and methodological skills. Application-oriented diagnostic knowledge plays a significant role in this.
During your studies, you can also choose your personal, professionally-oriented focus to further deepen your skills.
The study focuses in the Bachelor's programme for Naturopathy and complementary healing methods are:
• Homeopathy
• Traditional Chinese Medicine
• European Naturopathic Procedures
