In order to be admitted to the degree programme, you need to have a university entrance qualification according to § 65 Higher Education Law Rhineland-Palatinate:

General university entrance qualification or subject-specific university entrance qualification or a vocational training with an overall grade of up to 2.5 or a master craftsman's certificate or equivalent qualification as well as a completed training in the field of pharmacy, chemistry or biology Proof of relevant professional activity amounting to at least half a position

The study programme Industrial Pharmacy leading to the degree Bachelor of Science at Hochschule Kaiserslautern offers professionals from pharmaceutical-related professions an opportunity for further education alongside their careers. Pharmacy deals, among other things, with the quality, effectiveness, development, manufacturing, testing, and distribution of medicinal products. The programme covers this broad spectrum with a consistent practical orientation and prepares you for challenging tasks in the pharmaceutical industry. The standard period of study is 9 semesters and comprises a total of 25 modules.

The target group for this study programme includes professionals from pharmaceutical-related professions with an interest in academic further education.

The study contents are taught both through self-study and in traditional face-to-face events. Modern e-learning formats are used to support self-study. Face-to-face events usually take place once a month on a Friday and Saturday, supplemented by presence weeks in March and September.
