Admission requirements
For admissions to the Crisis Management Studies (B.A), the following conditions apply:
general university entrance qualification or subject-specific university entrance qualification or vocational baccalaureate or master craftsman's examination or comparable qualifications from professional advancement training and professional qualifications according to the requirements of a legal ordinance by the Hessian Ministry of Science and Art or an intermediate school leaving certificate in combination with a qualified qualification from a recognized three-year vocational training in accordance with the legal ordinance of the Hessian Ministry of Science and Art.Existing certificates of a completed course "Emergency Medical Technician" (EMT) or training as a "Paramedic" can, after individual review, lead to an equivalence assessment and recognition of the first (EMT) or the first and second semester (Paramedic).
Equivalency with German qualifications must be assessed for foreign degrees for admission. Foreign students are expected to have basic knowledge of the German language enabling them to complete their studies.
Furthermore, foreign educational qualifications are to be evaluated by the Hessian Ministry of Science and Art; in case of a positive evaluation, the applicants will receive a university entrance qualification for all German universities.
Equivalency must be proven for admission of foreign qualifications.

The Crisis Management in Civil Protection (B.A.) degree programme at DIPLOMA University specifically prepares students for challenges in crisis situations.
