- A completed university degree (Bachelor or equivalent) with content related to Public Health, Health Sciences, Health Psychology, or a comparable subject – for example Prevention and Health Management.
- Admission is particularly straightforward after a Bachelor’s degree from APOLLON University in Applied Psychology, Prevention and Health Management, or Public Health.
- Graduates of comparable degree programmes from other universities will be admitted after individual assessment, provided the study contents are equivalent.
- Applicants with another health or social science Bachelor’s degree can be admitted by successfully completing a propaedeutic course (preparatory course). This applies, for example, to degrees in Health Economics, Health Tourism, Nursing Management, Therapy Sciences, Medicine, Sociology, Social Work, or Psychology.
- There is no Numerus Clausus (NC). Admission is possible at any time.
Basic knowledge of statistics is also recommended to facilitate the entry into the scientific methods of the programme.
Personal requirements: You should have analytical thinking skills, an interest in scientific research, and in social as well as ecological issues. Experience in the healthcare sector or related fields is advantageous. Self-organisation, communication skills and a willingness to work interdisciplinarily are also helpful. For this part-time distance-learning course, you should plan about 35 hours of study time per month as well as motivation for independent online learning and exchange with fellow professionals.

What is the process and structure of the distance learning programme?
The Master's programme is designed as a part-time distance learning course with maximum flexibility. You can choose between a standard study period of 24 months or 32 months and, if necessary, extend the programme free of charge by half of the chosen time option.
