These are the admission requirements for the Bachelor's in Digital Health
In the Bachelor's distance learning programme in Digital Health at IU International University (IU), you can enrol if you provide us with your high school diploma (general higher education entrance qualification), your advanced technical college entrance qualification (Fachhochschulreife), or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification.
Alternatively, you can enrol without a high school diploma. Studying without a high school diploma at IU is possible under the following conditions:
- You have successfully completed an advanced training course, such as a training course to become a certified business economist.
- Or you have completed a vocational training, such as training to become an office clerk. Following your training, you have worked full-time in this profession for at least 3 years. If your training does not match the Digital Health distance learning programme thematically, you will first complete a trial study before being regularly enrolled.
If you choose the English-language option, you must also provide evidence of your English language skills. You can prove your English language skills, for example, through a TOEFL (minimum 80 points), IELTS (at least Level 6), a passed Duolingo English test (at least 105 points), a Cambridge certificate (at least grade B overall), or an equivalent proof. Alternatively, you can take an English course free of charge directly at IU International University.

Study Concept: How the Part-Time Study Programme in Digital Health at IU Works
The online study programme in Digital Health at IU International University can be adapted flexibly to fit your life and daily routine according to your preferences. For example, you can choose from 3 study models: In the full-time programme, you need a total of 6 semesters, which is 36 months, to complete your bachelor's degree. In part-time programme I, you study for 8 semesters until completion. Or you can opt for part-time programme II and take up to 12 semesters to complete your bachelor's degree.
You will receive study materials from IU with each module registration in the form of printed study booklets. All materials are, of course, also available digitally. The IU Interactive Books are innovative learning scripts enriched with video clips and quiz questions at the end of each lesson. Additionally, depending on the module, study materials may include podcasts, live tutorials, and video content in the form of shortcasts. You can access the IU Interactive Books through the convenient IU Learn app.
Many modules also offer virtual teaching sessions that allow you to interact with your fellow students and professors interactively.
Extremely convenient and flexible is the possibility to take module exams in the form of online exams. You can take an online exam 7 days a week, 24 hours a day - whenever you feel best prepared for the exam in, for instance, Construction Technology. Additionally, we operate about 40 exam centers in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, where you can also take your exams in a traditional onsite setting.
