Admission requirements

For the course in Health Management, admission is granted to those who meet one of the following requirements:

• General qualification for university entrance
• University of Applied Sciences entrance qualification
• Successfully completed master craftsman's examination
• Intermediate school leaving certificate (at least a secondary school leaving certificate) and a qualified completion of a recognized vocational training of at least 3 years, which demonstrates an average overall or final grade of 2.5 or better (if these grades are not shown, the arithmetic mean of the individual subject grades applies)
• Completion of a professional advancement training of at least 400 instruction hours, a technical school, or a vocational or administrative academy *
• Final examination in a state-recognized training occupation in the healthcare sector with subsequent at least 2-year professional activity related to the course of study and passing a separate university entrance examination *

To be able to deal with English technical terms and literature during the course of studies, we ask you to provide evidence of corresponding English language skills that have already been acquired through qualified tests, educational backgrounds, or further education. Alternatively, we are happy to assess your English language skills through a conversation with a representative of the university and provide you with targeted advice.

Further information on specific qualifications will be provided upon request. Applicants who do not meet the mentioned requirements can initially participate in the course as guest auditors if they have been admitted to the university entrance examination.

The Bachelor's programme "Health Management" (B.A.) offers a solid and practice-oriented academic education as an online distance learning course. The programme is open to all interested parties who meet the relevant admission requirements. In particular, the Bachelor's distance learning course is aimed at individuals who are already working in the health sector and wish to enhance their qualifications through a university degree. This includes professionals from the fields of nursing, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and speech therapy, as well as those working in the medical sector such as medical assistants.

The programme qualifies you for special challenges in the management of healthcare facilities. It provides you with the skills to analyze developments, initiate new processes, and effectively steer the implementation of innovations. Course of Study
At DIPLOMA University, you have the opportunity to study the Bachelor's programme in Health Management as an online course.

The online distance learning at DIPLOMA University is designed according to the "Blended Learning" principle. This means that you will work on the study contents with the help of study booklets and attend live online seminars. These seminars usually take place on 12 to 14 Saturdays per semester - in some cases also during the week in the evening. You can take your exams online or at an examination centre of your choice.

Costs & Registration
The (online) distance learning at DIPLOMA University starts every year in the summer semester (April) and winter semester (October) of each year. The start of the programme is also possible at any other time after an individual assessment.
