Requirements for enrollment

With a degree in health management, for example, you can work in health insurance companies, in outpatient and inpatient medical service locations, or in pharmaceutical companies.

You can easily get started with online studies in healthcare management at Hochschule Fresenius: With a general higher education entrance qualification (Abitur), the general subject-specific higher education entrance qualification, or the subject-specific university entrance qualification, you can enroll immediately and at any time.

An entry without a higher education entrance qualification is also possible, for example if you have completed a master craftsman examination or a comparable vocational advancement examination, such as the State-certified technician or the State-certified business administrator. If you can demonstrate a minimum of two-year completed job-specific vocational training and subsequent minimum two-year job-specific professional experience, you can also enter the programme via a university entrance examination.

By the way: If you have already completed a degree, you can save costs and time by having prior credits recognized. In addition to academic achievements, credits can also be recognized for achievements you have gained outside of a university.

The asset "Health" is a particularly valuable one, as it forms the basis of life for every individual. More so than in any other industry, the individual is at the centre of the healthcare sector. At the same time, the care, maintenance, and restoration of health is economically demanding. Therefore, it is crucial for healthcare professionals to possess both comprehensive economic expertise and the ability to deal effectively with the specific characteristics of the industry.
