- Completion of a professionally relevant vocational training of at least 3 years
- Recognised foreign school leaving certificate (subject to verification)
- Already obtained university degree
- Admission without Abitur/Fachhochschulreife via the second educational path:
- Completed vocational training of at least 2 years or comparable qualification
- Participation in an assessment test – upon passing, you receive the subject-specific university entrance qualification for the degree programme
First experience in the healthcare sector, medical technology or commercial-technical professions is recommended but not mandatory. Your previous training and continuing education may be credited towards the programme if professionally relevant.
To successfully complete the programme, you should possess the following personal prerequisites:
- Interest in technical, digital and economic topics in the context of healthcare
- Independent, structured working and the ability to study independently
- Basic computer skills and confident use of digital media

How is your distance learning course organised?
The programme is designed as a flexible distance learning course at APOLLON Hochschule der Gesundheitswirtschaft and offers you two standard study duration options:
- 36 months (full-time study): New study materials are provided every 3 months.
- 48 months (part-time study): Study materials are provided every 4 months.
- Free extension: You can extend the study period by up to 50% at no extra cost.
The content is delivered via digital scripts, web-based trainings, online quizzes and partly through seminars (optionally online or on site). A personal introductory seminar eases your start to the programme, all further seminars can be booked flexibly. You take exams either online or at examination centres.
Compulsory elective modules and an integrated internship make up a large part of the third year of study: here you work on two individually selectable specialisations and undertake comprehensive practical tasks. The bachelor’s thesis completes the degree.

A special service: you can test the course free of charge for 4 weeks and discontinue at any time without costs.
- Instalment payment: The fees are paid monthly.
- Funding options: Funding by employers, educational grants, scholarships or tax deductibility as business expenses are possible.
- BAföG: Depending on your personal situation, you can also apply for state funding.
