These are the admission requirements for the Bachelor's in Product Design
You can enroll in the Bachelor's distance learning programme in Product Design at IU International University if you provide us with your A-levels (general higher education entrance qualification), your Fachabitur (higher education entrance qualification) or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification.
Alternatively, you can also enroll without A-levels. Studying without A-levels at IU is possible under the following conditions:

- Or you have completed a vocational training, such as training to become an office clerk. Following your training, you have worked in this profession full-time for at least 3 years. If your training is thematically not related to the distance learning programme in Product Design, you should first complete a trial study before being regularly enrolled.
For this degree programme, you must also successfully pass a design aptitude test in accordance with § 68 (2) ThürHG in order to be admitted. The design aptitude test will take the form of the Basic Portfolio examination. For this, you must complete a subject-specific practical task and document your approach with up to 10 images and a short text. Your motivation for the degree programme in 2-3 sentences concludes the examination performance for your aptitude test.
