Admission requirements
For admission, (subject-specific) higher education entrance qualification or an equivalent school leaving certificate is required. Alternatively, you can qualify through a minimum 2-year vocational training and an IHK advanced training or a master craftsman's certificate, or through a minimum 2-year vocational training and at least 3 years of professional experience.
In addition, a minimum 3-month internship or relevant professional experience in tourism must be demonstrated. The proof must be provided by the beginning of the 3rd semester.

The hotel and tourism industry is highly competitive. In order to stand out from the crowd of competitors, a good and target group-oriented marketing concept is necessary. Therefore, professionals with solid expertise in marketing, as well as a clear understanding of the structures and processes of the industry, are increasingly sought after. With a bachelor's degree, you qualify for responsible marketing positions, for example, in hotels, tourist corporations, travel operators, and airlines.
Content:
The study program provides solid marketing content and expertise in tourism. Additionally, you will acquire management-oriented and business knowledge. Topics such as trends and innovations in tourism, international marketing, and hotel and quality management are extensively covered. Furthermore, you can set your own priorities through elective modules.
Type of Study:
In distance learning, you remain flexible and can decide when and where you study. In the online campus, you can access your digital study materials as well as online lectures and tutorials at any time. In addition, individual on-site seminars take place where you can deepen your knowledge and make contacts with lecturers and fellow students.
The bachelor's program can be started at the beginning of the summer semester (April) or the winter semester (October).
