Admission requirements

Access 1: You have high school diploma or technical college entrance qualification

  • With this qualification, you can immediately enroll in a degree program at Euro-FH
  • Also recommended, but not mandatory, is a professional activity related to the chosen course of study of at least twelve weeks

Access 2: You do not have a high school diploma, but have completed a profession-specific advanced training examination:

  • You have, for example, one of the following advanced training exams or an equivalent profession-specific advanced training exam:
    - State-certified business economist
    - Accountant
    - Master specialist
    - Specialist merchant
    - state-certified technician
    - Master or
  • You have qualification certificates according to the Ship Officer Training Regulation or you have a degree from a recognized technical college (according to the Hamburg School Act) or an equivalently recognized degree or
  • You have a degree in state-specific advanced training regulations for professions in healthcare, in the social care or social pedagogical professions that are comparable to the above and
  • You also participate in a consultation with the specialist committee of Euro-FH. The consultation will be conducted by telephone and lasts about 15 minutes. The coordination of the appointment for the discussion will take place after reviewing your matriculation documents

Access 3: Without a high school diploma, with completed vocational training and several years of professional experience

  • If you have completed vocational training and have been employed for at least three years thereafter (up to two years of childcare and caregiving can also be credited), you can be admitted to study as a so-called \"guest auditor.\" This means that you start your studies just like regular students and receive all documents and services like your fellow students, including the ability to take exams.
  • Within ten months, you then take the entrance exam at Euro-FH. This consists of an exam in German and an exam in reasoning and judgment. You can choose yourself whether you want to take a project work or an exam in the respective subjects. We prepare you optimally for the exams so that you can easily pass them within the allotted time. By the way, during the entrance exam, you have a monthly right of withdrawal, so you are not taking any risks.
  • Upon passing the entrance exam, your status changes from that of a guest auditor to that of a regular student. You will then receive proof of your previous study and examination achievements and continue your studies seamlessly.
