Admission requirements
For the Bachelor Tourism Management (B.A.), a professional experience of at least 3 months in the tourism industry is required. In addition, a general university entrance qualification or an equivalent school-leaving qualification must have been obtained. Even without a high school diploma, the bachelor's program can be pursued: For this, at least a 2-year vocational training plus 3 years of work experience or a master's certificate or an advanced training qualification must be demonstrated.

The distance learning programme Tourism Management (B.A.) prepares students specifically for these demands. Graduates of this programme have a comprehensive understanding of the tourism industry with solid economic and industry-specific expertise. They develop into industry specialists and are ideally positioned for leadership roles in tourism.
During the programme, you will acquire solid economic knowledge. The acquired social, methodological, and leadership skills are essential for management positions. A key feature of this programme is the high proportion of industry-specific content that is taught from the first semester onwards. This includes topics such as "tourism marketing," "trends and innovations in tourism," "hospitality management," "customer integration and communication," and "customer care management." This bachelor's programme is modular.
The Bachelor of Arts in Tourism Management is conducted as a distance learning programme. The theoretical framework consists of study materials specially prepared for self-study. In addition, modern multimedia teaching methods such as online lectures, online tutorials, and online exercises are offered. Upon completion of the programme, you will receive a total of 180 European Credit Points.
The target audience for the bachelor's programme includes school leavers with a university entrance qualification or a technical college entrance qualification who aim for a professional entry into the tourism industry, as well as industry experts who want to further academically qualify with a bachelor's degree.
The Bachelor of Arts in Tourism Management can be started in April and October. The distance learning programme takes 6 semesters for the full-time option and 8 semesters for the part-time option.
