- With university entrance qualification or university of applied sciences entrance qualification:
- General university entrance qualification (Abitur): entitles you to study at all universities nationwide.
- University of applied sciences entrance qualification (Fachabitur) or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification: entitles you to study in the corresponding subject area and in the designated federal state.
- With completed vocational training and professional experience:
- At least 2 years of relevant vocational training and at least 2 years of full-time employment in a related field.
- Additionally: passing a subject-specific higher education entrance examination.
- With advanced training qualification:
- Completed master craftsman’s examination, specialist business administrator, business economist, technician or comparable further training with at least 400 hours of instruction.
- A subject-specific higher education entrance examination is also required here.
- With intermediate school-leaving certificate and 3-year vocational training:
- Completed vocational training of at least 3 years with a final grade of 2.5 or better (with a lower grade, an entrance examination is additionally required).
- Agreement: Within the first year of study, 18 ECTS must be achieved in the first semester or 30 ECTS in the first year of study.
A numerus clausus (NC) is not required. Credits from previous training or degree programmes may be recognised where applicable.
Willingness to participate in online webinars and/or face-to-face seminars is also expected (depending on choice, up to 594 hours over the course of the study programme).

Through a variety of examination formats such as term papers, case studies and presentations, you build competences in reflection, analysis and application.
How is the distance learning course organised?
The bachelor’s degree is state-recognised and designed for 6 semesters (standard period of study) with 180 ECTS credits. A flexible start is possible monthly; there are no fixed semester dates. You decide whether to complete the course in 36, 48 or 72 months and can adjust the model free of charge at any time to suit your life situation. The study materials are permanently available to you online via the modern campus system studynet. Here you will find digital studymags, video lectures, e-books and an online library. On request, you can also obtain the content as high-quality printed booklets for a fee.
- You learn by self-study at your own pace, supported by a personal study coach and expert lecturers.
- Interaction with lecturers and fellow students is possible via forums, webinars and virtual office hours.
- 210 online teaching hours take place as webinars; in mixed mode, this can be up to a total of 594 seminar hours (webinars + optional attendance).
- The exam performance is largely delivered through alternative examination formats such as term papers, presentations, digital tests and portfolio exams. Only a few traditional written exams are planned, many of them online and flexibly as 24/7 exams or open-book format.
- A practical project (e.g. company startup) is an integral part of the curriculum.
- The distance learning course offers international experience through free ASU certificates (Arizona State University).

The total costs amount to around €12,420 depending on the model (at standard duration). The fees include:
