The MBA "Sustainability Management" provides comprehensive business competencies in the areas of finance, strategy, leadership, innovation, and marketing, and combines these with specialized training in sustainable corporate management. Participants develop the ability to strategically combine profitability, innovation, and responsible leadership in a dynamically changing world.

The program is based on a blended learning approach, with approximately 90% of the modules conducted online - through live sessions and self-study. An on-site module takes place at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. The structure allows for flexible integration of studies into work and private life, with around two-thirds of the study workload able to be completed asynchronously.

The content structure is divided into three competency clusters: "Enabling," "Managing," and "Transforming." Each cluster contains three specialized modules. The modules combine current scientific knowledge with practice-oriented methods to analyze management challenges, derive informed decisions, and implement successful solutions.

At the core of the curriculum is the development of technical and methodological expertise for complex decision-making processes. The goal is to prepare technical and managerial professionals for tasks in responsible corporate management, where sustainability is leveraged as a strategic advantage.
