With your MBA in General Management, for example, you can work in senior management, as a managing director, or as a founder and entrepreneur

The admission requirements for the MBA in General Management at Allensbach University vary depending on which study variant you choose.

For the MBA with specialization (120 ECTS) in 4 semesters, we require an initial, non-business-related university degree with at least 180 ECTS. In addition, you must demonstrate at least 1 year of relevant work experience.

For the MBA without specialization (90 ECTS) in 3 semesters, we require an initial, non-business-related university degree with at least 210 ECTS. In addition, you must demonstrate at least 1 year of relevant work experience.

For the MBA without specialization (60 ECTS) in 2 semesters, we require an initial, non-business-related university degree with at least 240 ECTS. In addition, you must demonstrate at least 3 years of relevant work experience, including at least 1 year in a managerial position.

In addition, you must demonstrate English language skills at the B2 level of the Cambridge Certificate. English language skills can also be demonstrated in a telephone test.

Course Content

The distance learning course "Business Education - Master of Arts" consists of four content blocks that complement each other systematically: the basic block, the business fundamentals module, a business education focus, and 2 elective subjects.

In the full-time program over 4 semesters (120 ECTS), the course is structured as follows:

• 1st Semester: Academic Work & Self-Management, Management & Organizations, Accounting & Controlling
• 2nd Semester: Investment & Finance, International Business, Leadership, Project and Process Management
• 3rd Semester: Specialization Module 1, Specialization Module 2, Specialization Module 3
• 4th Semester: Master's Thesis

During the distance learning program, you choose 3 out of the following specializations: Finance Management, Human Resources Management, Marketing Management, Digital Business Management, Engineering Management, Business Psychology, Corporate Health Management, Transformation and Turnaround Management, Economics.

In the 3-semester variant (90 ECTS), the course is structured as follows:

• 1st Semester: Academic Work & Self-Management, Management & Organizations, Accounting & Controlling
• 2nd Semester: Investment & Finance, International Business, Leadership, Project and Process Management
• 3rd Semester: Master's Thesis

In the 2-semester variant (60 ECTS), the course is structured as follows:

Course Structure in Distance Learning at Allensbach University

In distance learning at Allensbach University, you learn through online lectures. Presence and exams are kept to a minimum

In distance learning, you also study at Allensbach University completely flexibly time and location-independent. Before starting your studies, please have your individual requirements checked and any previous achievements recognized. This way, you can potentially shorten the standard study period of 4 semesters in full-time study for the MBA.

Of course, you can also study part-time. In the 120-ECTS variant, you can extend the standard study period of 4 semesters by up to 12 months at no additional cost, allowing you to complete your master's degree in 6 semesters. If you need more time, you will pay a reduced semester fee for additional semesters. The other two variants can also be extended free of charge by 50% of the standard study period.

You will have study materials available in both digital and printed form. At Allensbach University, you will not only learn with scripts but also through lectures. Unlike traditional universities, the lectures are not held on-site but online. All lectures are also available as video recordings.

We keep face-to-face sessions to a minimum. You will take exams at one of our numerous examination centres in Germany. You decide when to take your exams – we offer a total of 9 examination dates annually. We also limit the number of exams to a minimum: In many modules, instead of an exam, you can choose alternative forms of assessment such as essays, assignments, or oral exams.

Tuition Fees

The amount of tuition fees for this MBA program depends on the variant you choose. In the 120-ECTS variant, you pay a total of €14,160 in 24 monthly instalments of €590 each. These fees include teaching materials, access to the online campus, the learning management system, support services, and study services.

In the 60-ECTS variant, you also pay €590 per month, a total of €7,080. In the 90-ECTS variant, you pay a total of €10,620.

Tip: You can also defer payments if you wish. You will then pay a reduced tuition fee of €395 over 36 months in the 120-ECTS variant. The total tuition fees will amount to €14,220.
