The degree programme is designed as a joint programme and normally lasts five semesters (2.5 years) with a scope of 120 ECTS credits. The degree is the "Master of Business Administration (MBA)" and qualifies you for the higher civil service as well as doctoral studies.
- Start: Each winter semester.
- Self-study: Around 70 % of the study effort is devoted to flexible self-study with digital learning units, online resources and the ILIAS learning platform. Exchange with lecturers and other students takes place via chat sessions and digital collaboration.
- On-campus and online phases: Approximately 7 block dates per semester take place in Dortmund – online on Friday afternoons, on-site on Saturdays (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.). Exams are scheduled on a further 3 Saturdays per semester.
- Examinations: Assessments include written exams, oral exams, written elaborations, practice-oriented projects and the final master’s thesis including colloquium.
