The MBA General Management at HTW Berlin (University of Applied Sciences for Engineering and Economics) is primarily aimed at academics who are already in the workforce and have completed a degree, particularly in a non-business-related field.
Study ContentsHere is an overview of the individual modules of the MBA programme at HTW Berlin:
1st Semester: Internal Accounting, Corporate Finance and Risk Management, Operational and Strategic Controlling, Marketing Management, External Accounting 1 (Financial Accounting) 2nd Semester: Personnel Economics and Controlling, External Accounting 2 (Consolidated Financial Statements), Business Law, Industrial Goods Marketing, Production and Logistics Management 3rd Semester: Business Taxation, International Management, Economics, Strategic Management, Innovation and Project Management 4th Semester: Business Simulation (Business Game), Master's Thesis and ColloquiumIn addition, there is an Excursion where students travel to a European country for about four working days.
Duration of StudiesThe MBA programme lasts a total of 4 semesters. Since it is designed as a distance learning programme with presence phases, it can be completed alongside a full-time job. In addition to the presence days (mostly Saturdays), there is a presence week in Berlin with seminars, exercises, and exams.
Tuition FeesThe participation fee for the entire MBA programme is 8000 EUR in total. It is paid in instalments of 2000 EUR per semester.
