Admission requirements

Interested individuals with a first degree can apply if they have successfully completed a degree at a university, college, or a comparable institution, as well as at least one year of professional experience after completing their first degree. If your first degree (for Bachelor's degrees) has fewer than 210 ECTS credits, there are opportunities to acquire the additional required 30 ECTS credits.

The state of Rhineland-Palatinate also offers professionally qualified individuals without a first degree or without a high school diploma the opportunity to begin university studies.

University entrance qualification or technical college entrance qualification, followed by at least three years of relevant professional experience or vocational training with a qualified result and at least three years of relevant professional experience or a master's certificate (or equivalent qualification) and at least three years of relevant professional experience.
