These are the admission requirements for the Master's program Digital Product Management
We offer the Master Digital Product Management in a shortened 60 ECTS version, which lasts 2 semesters in full-time study. A first degree qualification with a grade of at least "satisfactory" is required.
Depending on the scope of your degree, you must also provide proof of professional experience:
- If your first degree comprises 180 ECTS, you must take courses totaling 30 ECTS and demonstrate at least 1 year of relevant work experience. Alternatively, you must show at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
- If your degree comprises 210 ECTS, you need to demonstrate at least 1 year of qualified work experience. This work experience should have been gained after your studies.
- If your degree comprises 240 ECTS, as is often the case with many diploma degrees, you do not need to provide proof of work experience.
Foreign applicants must also demonstrate their knowledge of German, for example, through tests like TestDaF, DSH, Telc, or ÖSD.
If you opt for the English-language variant, you must also prove your English language skills. You can demonstrate your English proficiency, for example, through a TOEFL test (minimum 80 points), IELTS (at least level 6), a passing score on the Duolingo English Test (at least 105 points), a Cambridge certificate (at least grade B), or an equivalent qualification. Alternatively, you can take a free English course directly at IU International University.

Study Concept: How the part-time study Digital Product Management works at IU
You can flexibly adjust the online study Digital Product Management at IU International University to fit your life and daily routine as it best suits you. For example, you can choose one of 3 study models: In the full-time study, you need a total of 2 semesters, i.e., 12 months, to complete your master's degree. In part-time study I, you study for 3 semesters until completion. Or you opt for part-time study II and take 4 semesters to obtain your master's degree.
With every module enrollment, you receive study materials in printed form at IU. All materials are also available digitally. The IU Interactive Books are innovative learning scripts enriched with video clips and quiz questions at the end of a lesson. You can access the IU Interactive Books via the practical Learn-App by IU.
In many modules, virtual teaching events are also offered, allowing you to interact interactively with your fellow students and lecturers.
Especially convenient and flexible is the option to take module exams in the form of online exams. You can write an online exam 7 days a week, around the clock - whenever you feel optimally prepared for the exam, for example in building construction. Additionally, we operate around 40 exam centres in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, where you can also take your exams in the traditional way on-site.
