In the Bachelor's distance learning programme in Product Management at IU International University (IU), you can enroll if you provide us with your A-levels (general university entrance qualification), your vocational baccalaureate (technical college entrance qualification), or the subject-specific higher education entrance qualification.
Alternatively, you can also enroll without A-levels. Studying without A-levels at IU is possible under the following conditions:
- You have successfully completed an advanced training course, such as a training course to become a State-certified Business Administrator.
- Or you have completed a vocational training, such as an apprenticeship as an Office Clerk. After your training, you have worked in this profession full-time for at least 3 years. If your training does not match the subject of Product Management distance learning, you will first complete a trial study before being regularly enrolled.

Study Concept: How the Part-Time Study of Product Management at IU Works
Online studies of Product Management at IU International University can be tailored flexibly to fit your life and daily routine. For instance, you can choose from 3 study models: In the full-time programme, it takes 6 semesters, which is 36 months, to complete the Bachelor's degree. In part-time study I, you study for a total of 8 semesters until completion. Alternatively, you can opt for part-time study II and take up to 12 semesters to finish your Bachelor's.
You receive study materials from IU in printed study booklets with each module registration. All materials are also available digitally. The IU Interactive Books are innovative learning scripts enriched with video clips and end-of-lesson quiz questions. Furthermore, study materials for each module include podcasts, live tutorials, and video content in the form of so-called Shortcasts. You can access the IU Interactive Books through the convenient IU Learn app.
Many modules also offer virtual lectures that allow you to interactively engage with your peers and instructors.
An added convenience is the option to take module exams in the form of online exams. You can take an online exam 24/7, seven days a week, when you feel best prepared, for example, for a construction exam. Additionally, we have around 40 exam centres in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland where you can take your exams in a traditional on-site manner.
