Admission requirements
Access with 180 credits from first degree
- with a completed, undergraduate degree from a state or state-recognized university with at least 180 credits, you can be admitted if you have at least one year of qualified professional experience after your first degree, and
- can provide an additional 30 credits through further education and training measures or
- complete a bridging course of 30 credits at the Euro-FH
Access with 210 credits from first degree
- with a completed, undergraduate degree from a state or state-recognized university with at least 210 credits, you can be admitted if you have at least one year of qualified professional experience after your first degree.
- If the required professional experience is not fully available, the program management will decide on admission based on the complete application documents and a letter of motivation.
Access without a university degree for experienced executives
- if you have completed vocational training and at least ten years of qualifying* professional experience, including at least six years of leadership tasks, you can be admitted through our master's entry program
English language skills
- You have sufficient English language skills at level B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
Details
The Master's programme "International Management" at the European Distance University Hamburg provides students with a scientific and practice-oriented education in the management of companies and organizations in an international setting through full-time distance learning or part-time distance learning. Graduates should be able to assess international aspects of entrepreneurial decisions and develop solutions for internationally relevant business issues.
Students acquire competencies in International Leadership, International Economy, Policy and Law as well as basics of international management. Possible fields of work include specialist and management positions involving the management of international projects and areas, such as the expansion into new markets abroad, managing international projects, or overseeing global procurement activities.
The programme can be completed with 120 or 60 ECTS credit points. Students with experience in international management can choose the shortened version, which focuses on the area of International Leadership. In addition to study materials and digital learning modules, the programme also includes an introductory seminar and a fourteen-day International Seminar abroad.
