The programme is aimed at working professionals from business administration or related disciplines who wish to further qualify themselves specifically for international specialist and management roles. You are addressed if you already have a completed undergraduate degree and are aiming for your next career step in international organisations, project teams, or globally oriented companies. Managers without an undergraduate degree can also be admitted through the Master’s entry programme if they have relevant professional experience. Graduates who would like to specialise in International Leadership, Business, Law, and Global Business Models benefit in particular.
Admission requirements: Which conditions must you meet?
The following formal requirements apply for admission to the Master’s degree programme in International Management at Euro-FH:
- Completed undergraduate degree (usually a Bachelor’s) from a university or college, preferably in a business-related field. Related degrees are also possible, provided the professional orientation fits.
- Professional experience: At least one year of relevant professional practice after the first university degree is required.
- English language skills: Proof of sufficient English language skills, as study contents are partly delivered in English and international management tasks require corresponding language competence.
- No numerus clausus (NC): There is no admission restriction via NC.
- Alternative for managers: Applicants without an undergraduate degree can be admitted through the Master’s entry programme with proven relevant management experience (individual assessment by the university).
Personally, you should bring analytical thinking skills, openness to international contexts, communication strength, and an interest in intercultural collaboration. Previously acquired practical experience in the business environment, ideally with an international focus, is advantageous. Independent, structured working as well as the willingness for self-organised learning in distance learning support your study success. Flexibility in the use of digital learning methods and a basic understanding of economic contexts are also expected.
What content can you expect in the Master’s in International Management?
In the International Management (M.A.) degree programme at Euro-FH, you will engage intensively with the core areas of international management. The course is divided into three key areas:
- Understanding International Management: You will acquire knowledge of corporate value creation – from the basics of general business administration to its application in the global environment.
- International Economy, Policy and Laws: You will learn how economic, political and legal contexts influence international business activities. The focus is on international economic relations, globalisation trends and legal frameworks.
- International Leadership: You will develop skills for leadership tasks in an international context. This includes team leadership in multicultural groups, ethical and sustainable decision-making, and the development of innovative solutions for global challenges.
A special feature is the “Future Project: Global Visions”. Here, you independently design future-oriented management concepts and engage with current developments such as digitalisation, sustainability and international innovation strategies.
After graduation, you will be able to independently take on international management tasks, analyse global markets and develop action-oriented solutions in areas such as international marketing, human resources or supply chain management.
How does your Master’s degree study work – flexible and practice-oriented
The distance learning course is designed for flexibility and can be completed part-time alongside work or full-time. Depending on your prior qualifications, you can choose between two options:
- 120 ECTS variant: Standard duration 24 or 32 months (free extension by 12 or 16 months possible)
- 60 ECTS variant (short version): For applicants with a first degree in economics and practical experience, duration approx. 12 months
You will receive digital study materials, audio booklets, video materials and access to the learning platform with the AI learning companion KILEA. Exams can be taken flexibly online every month or at one of the 10 exam centres. The course also includes some intensive seminars (mostly online) and a compulsory two-week international seminar abroad.
Individual support is provided by personal study advisors as well as subject-specific tutors. You can organise your studies at your own pace. A switch between part-time and full-time is possible.
