The Bachelor's degree programme in Public Management for Administrative Assistants is aimed exclusively at individuals who have successfully completed vocational training as an administrative assistant in Germany.
The following higher education entrance qualifications enable direct access:
- General or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification (A-levels) and vocational training as an administrative assistant in Germany
- University of Applied Sciences entrance qualification (with both theoretical and practical parts) and vocational training as an administrative assistant in Germany
Alternatively, you can enrol without A-levels. Enrolment without A-levels at IU is possible under the following conditions:
- Proof of completed, qualified training as an administrative assistant in Germany and at least 3 years of full-time professional experience as an administrative assistant
For international prospective students, proof of German language skills is required for the German-language study programme. The proof must be provided before the start of studies and is generally not more than five years old.

You can take an online exam 7 days a week, 24 hours a day - at a time when you feel optimally prepared for the exam, for example, in construction.
