These are the admission requirements for the Master's programme in Digital Innovation and Intrapreneurship
We offer the Master's programme in Digital Innovation and Intrapreneurship in a shortened 60 ECTS version, which lasts 2 semesters in full-time study. A first-degree qualification with a grade of at least "satisfactory" is required.
Depending on the extent of your qualification, you may need to demonstrate additional work experience:
- If your first-degree qualification is 180 ECTS, you must take courses worth 30 ECTS and demonstrate at least 1 year of relevant work experience. Alternatively, you can demonstrate at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
- If your qualification is 210 ECTS, you must demonstrate at least 1 year of qualified work experience. This work experience should have been gained after your studies.
- If your qualification is 240 ECTS, which is the case for many diploma qualifications, you must demonstrate at least 1 year of relevant work experience.
In addition, you need to prove your English language skills. For example, you can demonstrate English language skills through a TOEFL (minimum 80 points), IELTS (minimum Level 6), a passed Duolingo English test (minimum 105 points), a Cambridge certificate (at least grade B overall), or an equivalent qualification. Alternatively, you can take a free English course directly at IU International University.

The master's program at IU International University is modular. A module typically consists of 5 credits (ECTS) and concludes with an examination performance, such as an exam or a written assignment. You complete your master's one step at a time - and even determine mostly for yourself when you want to complete which module.

Depending on the module, the study materials are supplemented with podcasts, live tutorials, and video content in the form of so-called Shortcasts. You access the IU Interactive Books via the convenient Learn App of IU.
In many modules, virtual lectures are also offered, allowing you to interact interactively with your fellow students and lecturers.
Particularly practical and flexible is the option to take module exams in the form of online exams. You can take an online exam 24/7, 7 days a week - and that too when you feel optimally prepared for the exam, for example, in construction. Moreover, we operate around 40 exam centers in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland where you can also take your exams in a traditional on-site manner.
