Admission requirements

Prerequisite for enrollment is a successfully completed university degree in:

  • Engineering,
  • Business Administration,
  • Natural Sciences,
  • Computer Science,
  • Law,
  • or an equivalent qualification in accordance with the State Higher Education Act Baden-Württemberg.

Foreign prospective students need to provide evidence of German language skills to the university. There are several ways to provide this evidence, such as:

  • DSH-2 (German Language Examination for University Entrance),
  • C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR),
  • TestDaF level 4 (Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache),
  • a school leaving certificate equivalent to a German university entrance qualification.

Recommended skills:

  • Sound knowledge of academic work, especially in terms of independently writing scientific texts and documentation,
  • proficient knowledge of PC and internet applications,
  • English language skills at level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
