Admission requirements
You can be admitted to the distance learning master's programme if you:
have a first relevant professional qualifying degree (viticulture, oenology, and/or wine business, etc.)and
can demonstrate 3 years of relevant professional experience after completing your first degree in viticulture, oenology, and/or wine business, etc.If these admission requirements are not met in content, a specialist committee will decide on admission.
All modules can also be taken individually for targeted professional development. If you pass the respective module examination, you will receive a certificate, otherwise a participation certificate.

The distance learning MBA Management in Wine Business is aimed at professionals and managers in the wine industry. The focus of the programme lies on business aspects such as human resource management, business management, tax issues in the wine industry, and controlling. In addition, practical and current viticultural and oenological topics are addressed.

Costs
The programme consists of 12 modules – a fee of €1,000 applies to each module. If admission is subject to conditions, an additional module may need to be taken, in which case a fee of €120 applies. Additional costs include the semester social contribution to Hochschule Geisenheim of €137.50.
The modules can also be taken individually for targeted professional development. The fee for each module is €1,500.
