Admission requirements are

• a successfully completed non-economic university degree or an equivalent qualification in accordance with state university law, as well as English language skills at level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

For foreign students, the university requires proof of German language proficiency. There are several ways to provide evidence, such as

• DSH-2 (German language examination for university entrance),
• C1 according to CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages),
• TestDaF Level 4 (Test of German as a Foreign Language),
• a school leaving certificate equivalent to German university entrance qualification.

Recommended skills:

• Sound knowledge of academic work, especially with regard to independently writing academic papers.
• Basic knowledge of mathematics and statistics.
