Admission requirements
For graduates with at least 180 credits from their first degree
- You have relevant work experience of at least two years after completing your first degree. In this case, you will complete a bridging course at the Euro-FH worth 30 ECTS points, where you demonstrate basic knowledge of Strategy & Leadership.
- If you can demonstrate relevant work experience of at least 2 years in a managerial position with a workload of at least 35 hours per week, you may be directly admitted to the master's programme without a bridging course.
For graduates with at least 210 credits from their first degree
- You will complete a bridging course at the Euro-FH worth 30 ECTS points, where you demonstrate basic knowledge of Strategy & Leadership.
- With at least two years of relevant work experience, you can start directly.
For graduates with at least 240 credits from their first degree
- Those with the minimum required 240 credits from their first degree and one year of relevant work experience after completing their studies are eligible for the 60-credit fast-track master's programme.
English language proficiency
- You have sufficient English language skills at level B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Details
The master's programme "Strategy & Leadership" at the European Distance University of Hamburg is an economic science programme. It prepares students for leadership positions in companies and organizations. The course contents include areas such as Strategy, Leadership, Responsible Management, HR, Brand Management, and Digital Entrepreneurship.
Participants should have a first degree and be able to demonstrate at least one year of relevant work experience. The target group includes professionals with leadership experience, junior executives, and managing directors who wish to acquire business knowledge at an academic level.
The programme is offered part-time and can be completed on a full-time or part-time basis. In addition to study materials, the programme includes two online seminars and digital learning components such as instructional videos and online tutorials.
