These are the admission requirements for the Bachelor's in Financial Management
You can enroll in the Bachelor's distance learning programme in Financial Management at IU International University (IU) if you provide us with your A-levels (general higher education entrance qualification), your technical college entrance qualification (Fachabitur), or a subject-related university entrance qualification.
Alternatively, you can also enroll without A-levels. Studying without A-levels at IU is possible under the following conditions:
- You have successfully completed an advanced training course, for example, a training to become a State-Certified Business Administrator.
- Or you have completed a vocational training, for example, training as an office clerk. Following your training, you have worked full-time in this profession for at least 3 years. If your training does not match the thematic focus of the distance learning programme in Financial Management, you will first complete a trial study before being enrolled regularly.

Study Concept: How the Part-time Study Programme in Financial Management at IU Works
You can adapt the online study programme in Financial Management at IU International University flexibly to your life and everyday routine to best suit you. For example, you can choose one of 3 study models: In the full-time programme, you need a total of 6 semesters, or 36 months, to complete your bachelor's degree. In part-time study I, you study for 8 semesters until completion. Or you can opt for part-time study II and take 12 semesters to complete your bachelor's degree.
You will receive study materials at IU with every module registration as printed study booklets. All materials are of course also available to you digitally. The IU Interactive Books are innovative learning scripts that include video clips and quiz questions at the end of a lesson. Depending on the module, the study materials are supplemented with podcasts, live tutorials, and video content in the form of so-called shortcasts. You can access the IU Interactive Books via the practical IU Learn App.
In many modules, virtual lectures are also offered, allowing you to interact interactively with your fellow students and lecturers.
A particularly convenient and flexible feature is the ability to take module exams in the form of online exams. You can write an online exam 24/7, 7 days a week when you feel best prepared for the exam, for example, in building construction. Furthermore, we operate around 40 exam centres in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, where you can also take your exams in a traditional on-site manner.
