In-Person Sessions and Practical Experience
What sets the distance learning programme at the University of Schmalkalden apart are the intensive in-person sessions and block seminars held in Schmalkalden (Thuringia), at the campus of the Dual University of Gera-Eisenach in Eisenach, and in Gera. During these in-person phases, you can exchange ideas on the learning content with your fellow students and teachers.
Over the first 4 semesters, you will complete a total of 14 in-person sessions. These sessions are designed to be easily manageable alongside work commitments – the events typically last for 3-4 days, including weekends.
If you have already obtained 180 ECTS credits in your first degree, you can acquire the additional 30 ECTS through an accompanying study internship, which you can complete, for example, in your own company.
Tuition Fees
At the University of Schmalkalden, you pay the tuition fees for the part-time programme on a semester basis, always at the beginning of the semester. The tuition fees for the Master's in Business Management are 2360,- euros per semester.
In addition, there are semester fees of approximately 54,- euros (without semester ticket) or approximately 100,- euros (with semester ticket).
In total, you will pay approximately 12000,- euros for the programme.
