Admission requirements

You can start your online studies in either the summer or winter semester. To apply, please use the online application portal. Applications are accepted from June 1st each year for the winter semester start and from December 1st for the summer semester start. In addition to the traditional high school diploma, admission is also possible through professional qualifications. If you have any questions about admission and the application process, our colleagues from the Admissions Office will be happy to assist you.

The application process is fully online. After registering, you can apply for the chosen course of study and provide the necessary information. The application portal will then guide you through the next steps – from applying for matriculation to accepting the study place, which you must finally send by post. Only after your complete enrollment (matriculation) as a new online student will we hear from you, set up your student account for our virtual learning environment, and send you an email with initial information and an invitation to the orientation event.

The online Bachelor's degree program in Business Administration at Jade University offers a flexible and cost-effective way to further educate oneself alongside work and obtain the state-recognised university degree "Bachelor of Arts" (B.A.). The program concept allows students to tailor their studies individually to their professional and personal obligations, as they have 24/7 access to the study modules and are supervised by the university's professors.

The program is aimed at working individuals who wish to qualify for specialist and management positions in almost all areas of business, as well as those looking to expand their career opportunities through a university degree. Additionally, the Bachelor's degree qualifies for advanced Master's study programs and opens up opportunities for doctoral studies.

The program consists of 180 ECTS credits, spread across 30 study modules, a practical project, and the Bachelor's thesis. In addition to fundamental business modules such as Introduction to General Business Administration, Business Mathematics, and Accounting, the program includes modules in areas like Strategy and Marketing, as well as Investment and Finance. The elective area allows students to focus on individual specialisations.

Jade University's online study programs are accredited by ZEvA and offer students the highest flexibility through a modern e-learning platform. In addition to online modules, long-term planned face-to-face sessions are offered approximately four times per semester, allowing for early planning due to the minimal required presence time.

Students have the option to enroll part-time and adapt their studies to their individual life situations. The duration of the program can be extended as needed, making financial and time commitments more manageable.
