Admission requirements

Individuals with a first professional qualification from a university lasting at least six semesters in any field can apply if they have at least one year of relevant work experience.

Those without a university degree must demonstrate university entrance qualification and at least three years of relevant work experience. An aptitude test is required.

The advanced course in Sustainable Development Cooperation provides comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge in the areas of economics, ecology, and social sciences, focusing on development cooperation and sustainability. The course is designed for individuals already working in development cooperation or seeking academic qualification. Graduates are qualified for roles in both governmental and non-governmental organizations.

Over the course of four semesters, students will be introduced to theoretical and conceptual foundations and expand their skills in areas such as participation and intercultural communication. The programme also deepens knowledge in specific fields of action, including urban space, agriculture, and water management.

1st Semester: Theoretical foundations of the sustainability approach, participation, and intercultural communication

2nd Semester: Implementation strategies, deepening in social security or economic sustainability

3rd Semester: Sustainability in tourism and consumption, project management

4th Semester: Master's thesis

Students benefit from a flexible, part-time study model and a comprehensive online campus as a learning platform. Presence phases allow for in-depth study of theory and practice. A special focus is placed on project work and its evaluation.
