Admission requirements

Admission requires a college degree with at least 40 credit points in business administration.

Alternatively, a college degree in any field combined with one and a half years of professional experience before, during, or after the primary studies with a relevant reference to the master's programme can be submitted. Participation in the bridging course in business administration is explicitly recommended in this case.

Applicants should be employed at the time of application. Exceptions can be made in special cases.

Details

The Master's programme in Business Psychology at FOM University provides in-depth knowledge of the interaction between psychology and business. It is designed for professionals who are interested in the role of psychology in business, whether in project management, market and consumer research, or personnel development.

The course is structured over four semesters, followed by a final thesis. The content is practical and aimed at understanding the behaviour of economic actors better. Throughout the programme, students also acquire skills in conducting empirical social research, change and innovation management, and the development of marketing strategies.

3rd Semester: Occupational, Personnel and Organisational Psychology, Differential Psychology & Diagnostics, Applied Project: Digitalisation & the World of Work, Research Forum, Transfer Assessment: Coaching and Transfer Report 1

4th Semester: Leadership Psychology, Psychological Action Competence, Outline for the Master's Thesis, Transfer Assessment: Transfer Report 2 and Competence Check 2

Thesis: Master's Thesis and Colloquium, Transfer Assessment: Theory-Practice-Reflection Examination
