Details

The course in Business Psychology at INU is aimed at individuals who wish to apply psychological principles to economic and organizational contexts. The target audience is students who want to develop a solid understanding of human behaviour in companies, which is beneficial for personal development as well as diverse career opportunities. In an online course without NC [numerus clausus] restrictions and waiting semesters, following the recommendations of the Society for Applied Business Psychology e.V. and therefore recognized, graduates have access to numerous career opportunities including Human Resources, Marketing, Business Consulting, and Organizational Development.

The study plan is designed for six semesters and focuses on areas such as general psychology, business psychology, and practical skills. Contents include learning in introductory projects, basics of business administration, statistics, empirical research methods, business ethics, communication psychology, developmental psychology, and specific themes of business psychology. A practical project enables the direct application of learned contents in the business context. In the fourth semester, a specialization in two focal points can be chosen for further deepening.

In addition, the course offers the opportunity to select focal points from other courses to deepen knowledge in economic-psychological aspects. Career opportunities after graduation are diverse, ranging from HR management and business consulting to strategic management and market research.
