Admission requirements
In order to be admitted to the degree programme, you need to have the general higher education entrance qualification, a subject-specific higher education entrance qualification, or the university of applied sciences entrance qualification.
Don't have the Abitur or Fachabitur?
Recognised advanced training and technical school qualifications (e.g. technician, master craftsman, business administrator, specialist manager, educator, etc.) in combination with a consultation qualify you for the study programme.
If you do not have an advanced training or technical school qualification, but have completed vocational training and work experience, you can start the programme after passing a university aptitude test.
German language skills of foreign prospective students
The university requires proof of German language skills from foreign prospective students. There are several ways to provide this, such as
- DSH-2 (German language examination for university entrance)
- C1 according to CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
- TestDaF level 4 (Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache)
- a school leaving certificate equivalent to a German university entrance qualification.
