Admission requirements
For the admission process at HFH, the general requirements of the Hamburg Higher Education Act (HmbHG) apply. You can be admitted to the Bachelor's degree programme in Business Psychology with the (subject-specific) higher education entrance qualification. With a subject-specific higher education entrance qualification, you can be admitted to the Business Psychology programme if your subject specialization corresponds to the chosen degree programme.
Admission without a (subject-specific) higher education entrance qualification
Admission to the Bachelor's degree programme in Business Psychology at HFH is also possible without a (subject-specific) higher education entrance qualification. For example, if you have already successfully completed a recognized specialist further training, you can be admitted to this Bachelor's degree programme without an Abitur after participating in a fee-based advisory interview.
This requirement is waived for working professionals who have completed training and subsequently worked in a relevant field for at least two years. In this case, admission is granted through a written entrance examination, which must be completed in two selected course-specific modules as part of a guest studies program.

Economic developments depend directly on human decisions and actions. This becomes clear when consumers choose one product over another, when key performers in a company decide to switch employers, when management decides on a change in strategy, or when shareholders trade on the stock exchange. Within organizations, people are integrated into structures and work processes and interact with each other and the environment. At these interfaces between human beings and the economy, the interdisciplinary skills of economic psychologists are in demand.
This is where the Bachelor's programme in Business Psychology at HFH comes in. During your studies, you have the opportunity to specialize according to your personal interests and career prospects, the wishes of your employer, or the tasks and requirements of your company. The standard period of study for the Business Psychology programme at HFH is a total of eight semesters in part-time study and six semesters in full-time study. Upon successful completion of the programme, you will be awarded the academic degree of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.).
