Admission requirements

Prerequisites for the Business Psychology degree programme include the Abitur or the Fachabitur.

Access without a high school diploma is also possible. Required for this are a vocational training and at least 3 years of professional experience. Passing the master craftsman's examination also enables enrollment. Exceptions are governed by the Lower Saxony Higher Education Act.

Details

The Business Psychology distance learning programme combines business economics and psychological knowledge within a flexible and fully online study offering. The Bachelor of Arts qualifies you for exciting fields at the interface between psychology and business. Throughout the course, a variety of topics such as the fundamentals of business and economics, statistical methods, occupational and organizational psychology, as well as market and advertising psychology are covered.

A special focus is placed on the practical communication of economic and psychological skills. During the studies, you will conduct analyses on consumer behaviour and develop strategies for businesses and public institutions. Furthermore, you have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge in various elective modules such as Human Resource Management or Marketing/Sales.

Personal support from professors and study coaches is a central part of the programme, assisting you in the planning and execution of your studies. Test accesses provide you with an insight into the study materials, giving you a preview of the study concept. Upon completion of the programme, career paths in management consulting, human resources departments, or market research are available to you.
