Admission requirements
Access with 180 credits from the initial degree
With a completed undergraduate degree from a state or state-recognized university with at least 180 credits, you can be admitted if you
- have at least one year of relevant work experience after the initial degree AND
- can provide additional 30 credits through further education and training measures OR complete a bridging course at Euro-FH
Access with 210 credits from the initial degree
With a completed undergraduate degree from a state or state-recognized university and at least 210 credits, you can be admitted if you
- have at least one year of relevant work experience after the initial degree
Access without a university degree for experienced executives
- If you have completed vocational training and at least ten years of qualifying work experience with at least six years in leadership positions, you can be admitted through our Master's entry program
English language skills
- You have sufficient English language skills at level B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
Details
The distance learning course "Business Administration" introduces students to various aspects of management. The course contents include an introduction to management, strategy, business development management, and challenges of economic policy. In addition, students can specialize in key qualifications for executives by choosing from various options. These include leadership and performance management, communication and negotiation techniques, moderating and presenting, project management for executives, and change management.
Furthermore, the course offers a wide range of specializations for students to choose from, ranging from International Management to Marketing, Human Resource Management, Digital Marketing, Health Management, Strategic Controlling, and more. Students also have the opportunity to focus on topics such as the future of Sports Management, Entrepreneurship & Innovation Management, CSR & Sustainability Management, and Business Psychology.
The distance learning course "Business Administration" extends over a period of 24 months and awards graduates the title of "Master of Arts". A total workload of 21 hours per week is expected, with online seminars varying in length depending on the selected module (from 18 to 66 hours). The course is offered by the European Distance University Hamburg and comprises a total of 120 ECTS credits.
The course is completed with the preparation of a master's thesis, allowing students to apply their acquired knowledge and skills in a practice-oriented research project.
