Here are the admission requirements for the Bachelor of Business Administration
In the Bachelor's distance learning course Business Administration at IU International University (IU), you can enroll if you provide us with your A-levels (general qualification for university entrance), your A-levels (specialized qualification for university entrance), or a subject-specific entrance qualification.
Alternatively, you can also enroll without A-levels. Studying without A-levels at IU is possible under the following conditions:
- You have successfully completed an advanced training, for example, a training course to become a certified business economist.
- Or you have completed a vocational training, for example, training as an office clerk. Following your training, you have worked in this profession full-time for at least 3 years. If your training does not match the Business Administration distance learning program thematically, you will first complete a trial study before being regularly enrolled.
You must also prove your English language skills. You can demonstrate English language skills, for example, through a TOEFL (at least 80 points), via IELTS (at least Level 6), through a passed Duolingo English test (at least 105 points), with a Cambridge certificate (at least grade B), or provide an equivalent certificate. Alternatively, you can take a free English course directly at IU International University.

For instance, you can choose from 3 study models: In the full-time programme, it takes a total of 6 semesters, or 36 months, to earn your Bachelor's degree. In part-time study I, you study for 8 semesters until you graduate. Or you can opt for part-time study II and take 12 semesters to complete your Bachelor's degree.
You will receive study materials from IU with each module registration as printed study booklets. All materials are also available digitally. The IU Interactive Books are innovative study scripts enriched with video clips and quiz questions at the end of each lesson. Depending on the module, study materials are supplemented with podcasts, live tutorials, and video content in the form of so-called shortcasts. You can sit an online exam 7 days a week, around the clock - whenever you feel optimally prepared for the exam, for instance, in building construction.
